What this starter site stores
If you send a contact or volunteer message, the server stores the name, reply email, selected topic, message and submission timestamp in a file outside the public web directory. Form messages are visible to the site administrator after authentication. The system does not transmit submissions to email marketing services.
Browser-only tools
The preparedness checklist stores selections in your own browser's local storage when enabled. The Human Appeal and public-records letter builders, new 72-hour household plan, new decision log, and resource-verification checklist work locally in your browser. Their typed details are not automatically stored or sent to FFTAC. Downloaded files remain your responsibility to secure. The shared checklist stores completion flags locally only when browser storage is available.
Public program status
Public project status and supporting links are manually published by an authenticated site operator. The editor is not a place for submitting or publishing individual case details, private addresses, or other sensitive information. Site operators should keep a dated, reviewable status record and public correction process.
Security and limitations
Web server and host infrastructure may process standard connection logs. HTTPS should be enabled before launch. The operator must set a strong admin password, restrict infrastructure access, arrange backups, define a retention period, and comply with applicable privacy law. This site does not promise absolute security.
Retention and deletion
The software supports admin review and manual deletion of submissions; the operator should publish and enforce a local retention schedule before opening public forms. To ask the operator about a submitted message, use the contact page, but avoid sending further sensitive information.
External links
Educational links lead to independent official or nonprofit websites with their own policies. They are not embedded scripts or API integrations.
